Emote Challenge Bugged?

Did emotes and emoticons during play and it does not count towards the goal for the event

I see now you have to use the top left or top right front button there to get credit if you have a joystick pluged in . I was trying to use 1 and 2 to activate them while i had the joystick plugged in and it wouldnt work. I got credit for it now on solo

Explore one worked with M+K in one round but the other one from Frosty Frolics doesn't want to work whatever i try (tried with M+K and Controller one emote per round and 5 emotes in one round) L.E Worked with M+K by spamming all emotes from emote wheel at least one time most of ones was the sticker ones(heart/love,angry,sad etc).
