Jump showdown tie?

I played a match of Jump Showdown and it lasted 6-7 min, it was me against another guy, I didnt fall and as far as I could tell he didnt fall either. I got the crown, is it possible that it was a tied match?

This is normal. I won many matches with 3 more people by just jumping and surviving. The final winner's animation I think its random and everyone wins 1 Crown. As they will now fix the speed of the bars, this will be less common unfortunately...

Yeah, showdown automatically ends after 5 minutes. Everyone who's left gets a win. I saw 7 people survive to the end once.
You can time out any map in the game, I think. If it's a map where you need to do something to qualify then it automatically eliminates everyone who's not finished. If it's a map where you need to avoid being eliminated then it qualifies everyone who's still alive. It's just rare because usually people succeed/fail before the time is up.

Yeah, there is a 5 minute hidden timer in all of the finals (except Royal Fumble) that awards all remaining players a win and crown. That includes Fall Mountain, if no one goes up there and grabs the crown then everyone wins. Also present in Hex A Gone, you can see it happen in old videos of hackers where multiple hackers in the same game all flying around and the timer awards them all a win. In these cases the award ceremony plays only once for a random person, but they will all get the winner rewards screen.

Since the release of season 2 there is a bug where the bars start a bit fast but after that the speed is decreased and don't change until the end, so it became more common to win a crown this way.

The official profile of Fall Guys on Twitter said that this will be fixed this or next week.

There's a five minute timer. When you play Jump Showdown for five minutes all the alive people get a crown.
