The rewards are currently bugged. They'll probably patch it up soon enough.
I uninstalled the game and installed it again and I got them the next day. Not sure it's related though.
Also you need to check your inventory because they won't pop up when you get them unless you level up.

You get your first golden costume piece at level 23 with 254 crowns (gold witch bottom), and you get the matching costume piece at level 27 with 444 crowns. Full rank rewards list is here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2323715930

Indeed. I hope they're gonna rework it. I don't wanna spend the next 15 years farming crowns for the golden dragon skin.

I think the crowns numbers necessary for the golden costumes are a bit exaggerated. Just me?

The first one you "only" need 450 ish crowns. Some other costumes are given directly by the community manager for competitions or for streamers, and those are almost impossible to get by normal gameplay. At least these ones are obtainable, and have strict rules to obtain.

Also, there's no reason for every single costume to be easily obtained by everyone. All the 10 crown skins from the shop can be bought by anyone, so they are not special anymore. A full golden skin though, that's special.

I know that some of them are given directly by the devs. TimTheTatman has two of them and he can't even play the game and everyone knows it. Also false advertising imo because the magic dragon skin was showed in the s2 trailer and of course it wasn't even obtainable by normal players. A bunch of beans waited for that skin and of course it never came out. I also would've loved that one.
Yes the golden skins are achievable but the requirements are too high imo. Most people will drop the game before they get the first golden skin, I think. 444 crowns to have a full set it wayyyy too much. According the the steam achievements only 1.6 percent have won 20 episodes to begin with.. I do understand that they shouldn't be made common but I think getting your first golden skin after 100 wins is the way to go. Besides the first golden skins are quite ugly (subjective opinion), I don't like the witch skin at all, not the hot dog/chicken. Would be better if you were able to choose the golden skin you wanted instead.
