How is the battle pass grind now?

I havent played the game since season 3 and i'm very curious to play this game again since FF14 collab is coming, how fast will it take for an average playing to finish a battle pass?

Theres sadly only one prestige skin this fame pass and its at tier 120 so if you want a fat black chocobo you need to put in the work and do dailies everyday and get all your weeklys done which require you to win once a week at least.

Nah, I didn't even play the game for two weeks straight during last season, and didn't focus on dailies or weeklies, and still completed the battle pass simply from playing the game a little while it was doing double points and just flew through like 65 levels from playing maybe an hour a night with little effort since even a single daily challenge worth of points can get you through a ton of levels.

The only thing you should doubt is your imagination skills since you seem to have a habit of associating play time with time spent in actual gameplay rather than on other activities. My main focus on the game as of late is creating several fun rounds using the carry-able fans as weapons to knock others off the map for a battle style map similar in concept to blast ball. Have been having some issues with balancing it in a way that people can't just camp one spot though.

Ok, well you need to play to get the battle pass done, which you clearly did enough to get it done. Just because you are so beautifully skilled at a childs game doesn't mean everyone else is. I get you want the black chocobo to be rare but you dont need to lie to people and tell them you can just wait til the last week to get 120 cause it would take a bit of grinding vs casually playing daily my man.

You're creating a completely false narrative that makes this come across as you just feeling slighted that someone disagreed with you.

Finishing the battle pass has literally nothing to do with skill, nor did I ever suggest I did some feat of skill to complete it. Most daily challenges have no correlation towards skill. Simply doing a repetitive task like "Play ___ 5 times" . Most daily tasks while double points are active immediately gives a person around 3-5 levels from what I experienced. Just a single one with multiple earn-able a day. The weekly task points were even more obscene with something like 5-7 levels it gives at once. Most daily tasks only take maybe a few games so they quickly add up. This is an intentional feature so that people can complete the pass easier even if they slacked off as I did.

I find it incredulous that you don't understand a concept as simple as double points= completing the pass twice as fast as normal and even more expediently when it comes to challenge points, but it really wasn't hard enough for me to get and use to my advantage to earn levels quickly, and suggest others do the same.

You also are creating a false narrative in you pushing the I was suggesting someone was going to do all 120 levels in that time. Just that in my personal experience they gave plenty of wiggle room to the extent that having to play regularly seems entirely overkill. I get it though, a lot easier to attack strawmen.

I know you are looking for a fight but I’m not trying to fight with you, just don’t lie about how long it takes to do the battle pass, there’s no way you didn’t grind at some point double fame was only for 7 days and I finished with 1 day left and that’s playing and doing my dailies every day just missing like 4-5 days. Also winning every week for the weeklies as well.

Not to mention they nerfed xp for solo players because you had to do the party parade to even do the weeklies for two weeks.

So yeah you either grinded at the end or you were playing more than you said. That or you bought the level bundle or levels at some point which is fine to do as well, I wouldn’t have wanted to miss the pink capybara either.

I’ve done all the fame passes this way. They have it calculated to be this way.

Here's some bonus math for you!

There's two weekies that give fame, one gives 7800 fame one gives 5600 if you double those you get 15600 fame and 11200, Thats just ONE TIME since double fame is 1 week. It takes 7920 fame per level.

15600+11200= 26800 you divide that by 7920 what do you get? Only 3.3 LEVELS OF BATTLE PASS for the double fame weeklies

Now lets try the dailies.

5400x2= 10800 2800x2= 5600 3300x2 = 6600x3 because there are 3 3300 dailies my friend. Are you keeping up?

All of those dailies added together? 10800+5600+6600+6600+6600= 36,200 fame for the dailies DURING JUST DOUBLE FAME MIND YOU!

36,200 x 7 because double fame only lasted 7 days this fame pass and what do you get? 253,400 fame.

Now take 253,400 fame and divide it by 7920 fame what do you get sir?

You get ONLY 31 LEVELS. so theres no way you didn't grind or buy levels.

TLDR: You only get 35 levels from weekly and dailies during the ONE WEEK of double fame. you said you flew thru 65 levels? How? You grinded it or you didn't have 65 levels to go more like you were at 95 like I was from playing every day.

Don’t want to fight with either one of you, just want to tell my own experience for the OP. I actually finished all the past Fame Passes with level 120, but only on the very last days. For my time schedule, I played 4-5 days a week (in squads with my wife), did all daily and weekly challenges (also got quite far in rounds, so that are some additional points). Before the double XP-event the last week we were always around level 80, and those last 40 levels added quite fast then. Long story short, there might be some room for tolerance (at least 2-3 days you can skip a week), but the last week is kind of essential to get to level 120 I think. That is, I’m actually not that ambitious and just playing for fun, and I’m always telling myself, hey, if I get to level 40 (which is super easy), it’s enough (after all you get nearly all rewards that way). But when we play a bit more, and levels add and add up, in the end it’s a kind of sportsmanship to reach the magic 120 ;)

No fight to be had with me, I agree you can take a few days off and still make it but you will need to be extremely focused and spend all of double fame doing everything you can to finish, I know when I procrastinate it gives me some anxiety so I don't wanna push that on other people I just like to give them some leeway with my answers.

But for Sardonicus to say he went from 65 to 120 in the double fame week without grinding is just ridiculous.

New fame passes aren't really worth it. Will never be as good as original passes and rewards. the locked rewards make it worthless to even play for free to play players. Unless you want to spend about $9 bucks each time or no life the game then don't bother.

Actually friend, as I shown with my math you don't have to no life it just play about an hour or so a day to do dailies and weeklys but you can miss a few days as my friend sanmay has shown as well.

Its 7.99 for 1000 show bucks, you pay only 600 show bucks for the new fame passes and you get 800 show bucks back after you complete just 40 tiers on the new fame passes so you actually get MORE show bucks back for playing the game.

You don't need to no life it to get 40 tiers and your money back you do have to put in a bit more effort for 120 but you can get tier 40 very easy if you dont care about recolors.

It's certainly not no lifeing and it is certainly a pretty good value if you enjoy the skins. Plus you can just buy into the fame passes ONE time and save the showbucks and buy every fame pass again for the rest of fall guys life with extra show bucks to spend after a few fame passes!

This fame pass is only 100 tiers for the max too so it's even easier than the past few.

You seem to take things highly literally in a way where most normal humans would extrapolate should be taken figuratively. I didn't say I did 65 levels, I said I did quote, "something like 65 levels" with "something like" being given as an estimate of someone not actually paying close attention to their numbers since that would take some obsessive loser to pay that close attention to uninteresting details. I don't know the exact number, i just know that I flew through levels at an insane rate.

I also didn't only do my dailies. I played for around 1 1/2 to 2 hours each night with maybe closer to 3 hours or so on my days off, with a friend mostly just playing duo during double fame pass as is about a normal session from what I've seen. I got all party points so your comments about them are irrelevant.

I basically played a ton when it first came out. Didn't play for like 2 weeks or so then did double points and easily got the full thing with 2 days to spare.

Therefore you are clearly full of BS to say that a person can only take a few nights off. There is clearly a wide variety of play styles that can do it. It's not as hard as you're claiming.

Hey my man, the math is right there. 35 levels is what you got from double fame and the dailies/weeklies. Not everyone has friends to play with and not everyone likes to grind. You can absolutely take 2 weeks off if you want to have to grind or risk not getting everything. Like you said theres a bunch of different playstyles.

If you were just trying to explain how you did your fame pass you shouldn't of quoted my original post and totally try to invalidate what I had said about my experiences with "nah i did this", friend. You know?
