Also it's not trash, it's simply a different free account that is being used to the benefit of the gamers.
You will still be able to play it through Steam. It's only requiring an Epic Account, that you log into right with in the game itself, and you won't be using the Epic Game launcher at all for the game.
It probably was. I mean, they already made most of their sales in the first few months. They don't have to worry about any of the people who already own the game getting mad, since they got our money already.
The funny thing is that it probably wasn't worth it for Epic either. They probably thought they were on to a big thing, but we've all seen how the playercount drop. Epic are trying to force people to use their store, but I doubt they'll get many converts over Fall Guys.
The developers of this game are dishonest.
Steam shouldn't allow these things to happen, and it should fine the developers.
That would make Valve hypocritical themselves if they did that, since Valve did the same thing with Counter strike years after it released.
And if Valve started to add fines to their contracts that would be a good way for them to lose a lot of dev/pub business. Steam is only successful because the dev/pubs made it successful by putting their games on Steam, Steam needs the dev/pubs in order to be successful.

I would like to hear an opinion from the developers, why this bitter choice, they could very well code a double server, so that users choose whether to play on the Epic Games servers with crossplay, or the Steam servers without crossplay, with a simple toggle option.
Not even talking directly to steam support worked, they just don't give a
If all else fails, delete the game from your account, make a negative review, and warn others about these terrible business decisions.
