Report a translation problem
It's a race. You can't just take your time and expect to qualify. You're suppose to be beating other people in that race by being quicker than them to qualify first. It's not the games fault you're so slow that you can't make it quicker than 80% of people.
I would recommend watching the players that qualify a lot and follow the paths they do to learn where the quickest routes are.
If you're playing Hard Mode, that's why. I noticed better players tend to play Hard Mode to grind extra crowns so there's always a bigger sense of competition since most of the people playing in that game mode are pretty good at it so are going to be quicker than your average player. If you're just in a normal Main Game I honestly don't see what you're talking about unless you just got bad luck a lot one night. It's usually really easy to qualify in Main Game and even have time to mess around by the finish line for a bit, so I don't see the same issue as you.
