Missing Files Error - Fix = Install Epic Client

TL:DR install Epic Launcher
Hello all, so as many of you I kept having the missing files error at the start even though I verified, restarted steam, uninstalled, sold my soul to the devil
Apparently the devs assumed we all had Epic Games client installed in our computer (!!!)
So when I summited the ticket they told me to do this:
1) Close Fall Guys and Steam
2) Uninstall Epic Online Services
Start>Add or remove programs>Search for Epic Online Services and Uninstall
3) Verify files in Steam (please do this again even if you have done it before)
4) Try to Play the game

The only way to have "Epic Online Services" is to install Epic Launcher so the true steps are:
1) Install Epic's client from the web
2) log in
3) now you will have the file "Epic Online Services" on your computer, uninstall that
4) Go to epic launcher, click on settings and click on install
5) Open Fall guys and log in

Con la actualizaciòn de la temporada 6, ahora hay que instalar el cliente de Epic Games para evitar el error de Missing game files.
A) si ya lo tenias instalado, hay que borrar el programa "Epic Online Services" e instalarlo desde configuraciòn en el Launcher de Epic, la proxima que te loggees a Fall Guys, te van a pedir loggearte en Epic y mergear las cuentas.
B) si no lo tenias, tenes que instalar el launcher de Epic primero y hacer los pasos de nuevo.

I've fully reinstalled Fall Guys, the epic launcher, epic online services, and cleared my download cache at least 4 times now. This is Epic's responsibility I believe.

I'm assuming you guys have your steam account connected to epic games but if you don't, then that is definitely the issue.

FFS, yes.

I uninstalled both the Epic Launcher and Online services (again). I reinstalled the Epic launcher, and made sure to use the "login with Steam" option just in case my account link was being weird. I'm still getting the same error code.

"Install Failed
Could not download installation information. Please try again later.

Error Code: EOS-SU-IH-MCP-BI-3

Search our knowledge base to learn more"

I've reinstalled the Epic launcher at least four times now.
I've reinstalled Epic Online Services multiple times through removing the program, and installing again through the Epic launcher.
I've cleared my Steam download cache three times, and restarted my PC each time.
I've validated my game files multiple times.
I've fully reinstalled Fall Guys three times.
I've made sure to run Steam as an Administrator for the last two reinstalls.
I've had Windows Defender Firewall disabled, and Bitdefender's services were all disabled during attempts as well.
I also made a new Guest user account on my PC to see if I could get it to work from there, but still the same error message. Someone had luck doing that apparently.

Seriously don't know what else I could be doing at this point.

I'm in the same boat, did pretty much everything you did multiple times and still says I'm missing files.

Jeez relax not my fault your game is broken and I'm trying to help

At this point I'd suggest to create support tickets, the more people complain the better.
They told me to uninstall that file and it worked, maybe they found a new bug and solution.

They work in tech support, make them work. I work as a QC and giving the devs details about the steps, errors and specs really help them debug.

Worked for me. TYSM! I'm a returning player from the under the sea season and I thought Epic already disabled steam launch XD
