Mouse pointer always in center of screen when using external controller

I play with an xbox controller connected to my computer. But since the new update, the Fall Guys pointer that shows up when you move your mouse is always in the center of the screen. If I move the mouse pointer off the edge of the screen, the instant I push any button on my controller, the pointer goes back to the center.

The pointer cannot be controlled by another other than the mouse so I don't know what the solution is here. Has anybody else had this issue?

This is happening with everyone that uses a controller, unfortunately. Someone posted that launching the game with controllers disconnected then reconnect them again after game loading works as a recovery action.

Yeah im having this problem too, with xbox one controller and it started happening at season 6 start.

I had the same problem and found a solution. I have a 2nd monitor and when I launch Fall Guys I make sure I am using the mouse on the 2nd monitor (usually on something like Notepad). When the game finishes loading, I alt+tab in it, press a button on the controller and the pointer vanishes.
