Honestly, can the timer on this finale be reduced by a minute or two? I don't like having a heartattack for two minutes simply because me & my competitors are good at staying alive.

It used to be much more lenient. Now it's the stage that can last far longer than any other stage.

it was never intended to be timed out. you are abusing the poor design of the map to get free shared crowns. kill the others early and get your crown like it's meant to be done in a battle royale

i think timing out is fun, and grabbing is only fun if there's a threat, which would be another grabber. so i only grab if im previously grabbed

What's this about abuse? No round takes as long to finish as Jump Showdown. I'm just asking for a more lenient timer, in line with all the other stages.

Why would it be abuse in this stage, when other stages finish way quicker?

every finale timeout is 5 minutes

it is abuse, as it wasn't intended to work that way when the game was developed, but soon players found the way to beat the map. you can do the same on the other finales, but it's easy to do in that one.

you literally trick the game to give you easy crowns in games that you did not win. in fact, the game doesn't count these as wins, if you were able to see the real counter in some sort of stats option (which is there but hidden)

now, you can keep trying to abuse it that way until developers do something about it, but asking publicly for a shorter or easier way to do it is a shame

The objective of the round is to have just one winner, it turned out you can have shared crowns in that round if you are skilled enough... The actual timer is good because some players get tired and screw the jumps or start in the grabbing business and decrease the amount of shared crowns.
If you don't want a long time in the round you can just start grabbing, accepting the dangers involved.
