Grab physics, broken for others?

Does anybody else get the sense that the grab physics are almost completely broken?

If I want to grab another player, egg, battery, penguin, etc. I have to literally have my guy touching the object before the hold will register. Meanwhile people are able to pull me in from a body length or two away like they're using the force.

This happening to anyone else? It's especially bad on the egg games. I'll get stripped of the egg even though I'm clearly a body length+ away from another player.

its to prevent people from spam jumping to avoid getting grabbed, but it also ruins it for people who just happened to jump right before somebody grabs them

Grabbing in Basketfall is very broken, when they grab me, the ball literally ascends to Heaven.

Yes. But it's hardly the only control that is either broken or buggy.

I do that, I dive when another bean is near. but when I dive. the ball goes in front of me. but then latency strikes and it still goes to Heaven :(

Grab function is broken in that sometimes it allows certain players to grab you from at least three body distances away, where sometimes you have to be up a guy's nose to grab them. The physics model of the game seems like it's on random on deciding when jumps and grabs will function properly.
