So we're a couple days since S5 release and the game is still crashing on startup

Seriously, how hard is it to find this issue? I am on Windows 10, updated graphics drivers, updated DirectX, etc. Every other game works completely fine except Fall Guys. It's clear Mediatonic changed how your computer looks for resources when booting the game. Simply undue this change. It's pretty unacceptable that such a game breaking issue has no fix.

i'm on Windows 7 and after yesterday update I can't start game! Make sure you have DirectX 11! How to fix it?

C'mon, you don't even have a DX11 card in 2021, you must have some 15 years old DX9 card :P

I don't think we can fix it. Mediatonic needs to release a patch. I have DirectX 12 which is stock in Windows 10, but it also has all the old versions of DirectX as part of its package so 11, 10, 9, etc. can still be accessed for games.

Ehhhh ReShade is flagged as a cheat in a lot of games. I'd prefer not to be banned from other games due to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ on Mediatonic's part with Fall Guys when they could just as easily release a patch.

To be clear, if you only play Fall Guys it shouldn't be an issue. I know some shooters especially have it flagged as a cheat because it makes enemies easier to spot depending on your settings.

Looks like it like an programm ArtMoney. Dont want to have problems with steam and game. Who knows what will happen after ReShade patching, will ban all users or who knows. Better to wait some time. Thanks for saying that this flagged like a cheat programm.
