The 3 reasons the game died.

1. In the past there were so many hackers and it took weeks before the devs added anti cheat but people already left.
2. Among us appeared and that took away Fall guys' popularity and cuz it was so cheap and affordable people started playing it with their friends.
3.The maps are repetitive i dont mind it, some do and its all about playtime the more playtime the more people are familiar to what they have to do , fastest paths, etc.

If maps are repetitive then the only thing that saves the game is the competitive spirit. And this game has an awul lot of problems with that.

1. Lag compensation is awful. You constantly bump into invisible beans that are about spawn. People are snatching your tail while being far away from you. You run toe to toe with an adversary and suddenly he finishes before you two even get to the finish. You can't grab a ledge because someone is already there but you can't see them.

2. Terrible waiting times between matches. After the round ends you press ESC which says "Return to menu" and DOESN'T DO THAT. You go to "beans falling screen" and you need to do that again. And then you wait for the medals to appear, the exp bar to fill, watch a bean clapping animation. Then it searches for server for 2-5 minutes. I've just lost a race and I want to start a new one as soon as possible. It's infuriating to go through all these screens just to make another try.

3. Team rounds may ruin your run no matter how good you are at this game. This is the most awful feeling when you get golden medals on the first three games and then you enter Rock-an-Roll where all 4 of your teammates instantly abandon both you and the ball trying to stop enemies. And you can't push it off the ledge alone. And you've lost even though you did nothing wrong. This either breaks any will to play this game or makes you pray not to have **** in your team... or not to have any team games at all.

4. Maps aren't designed in a fair way. Even the final rush (i runno what's the name of a final mountain round) has two rows of players. It's heartbreaking to start in the back row and run all the way up to the top and the guy who was in front of you as he finishes and wins the crown and you lose just because the game decided to shove you in the back. In other rounds it also slows you down since not-moving players are unmovable. You start the round with W pressed and bump into AFK player and it simply stops you. Now you're further. Even more: there are a lot of points where a single person can ruin the map for everyone else. Alt. round for swings when they are parallel to the finishes. One person stands on the further end of a swing an nobody gets to finish. Or that round thing in the race against the slime where you can stand and push everyone. It's not fun for everyone but one person.

5. Lack of rating. It's similar to Tetris 99. It's hard to get good in the game when you're not getting a chance to get better. People who've won multiple times are matchmade with absolute newbies who can't pass simplest tasks. And they destroy you on latter rounds since they've had more experience with those rounds and they get better every time while you barely get a chance to try those modes at all. So their win streak increases even more... except when they are put in the team with newbies and lose that team round. And even when you win that victory feels sour since you don't know if you're actually became good or you got lucky to be matchmade with bad players.

6. Awful store. Getting the same cheap stuff every day. I don't understand why couldn't they make a general store with all the items and use the daily/special deals to make users log in daily. Make it 20 crowns for Promo suits in general store. Expensive, sure, but those who've missed the event will get a chance to get it without waiting for X months and those who did get it will not miss on anything since they've got it with a 75% discount. And now I'm sitting here and waiting for months so the lime green color finally appear to me.

7. Inconsistency. Sometimes you character falls down after the jump on flat surface. Sometimes they don't get up longer than usual. Sometimes they can't grab the ledge. Sometimes they grab the ledge and fall down either way. Sometimes the game will drop you from your party and you'll play together but in different teams. Sometimes you'll be connected to different games on different servers after searching for a game. Sometimes you will not connect at all while your party members will join the game. And you can't spectate them too. Two of them are in the game and you're stuck in the menu. And it's completely random and happens with different party members from different towns.

Please don't tell me "it's just a party game it's meant to be fun". It was fun to play those rounds for the first 200 times. They are repeated too much so there is no pure interest in plaing those levels left. So you start playing competitvely to win and get some adrenaline. And you can't do that due to aforementioned issues. I've played it and enjoyed it since season one until the T-posing cheaters has plagued the servers. And at that time the game has had a lack of servers. So to fight with cheaters they give those cheaters dedicated servers. This is so silly I can't believe it actually happened. Now I'm simply burnt out to play this since I try to do my best but in this game it doesn't really matter.

Also Fall Guys translation is awful, misleading, doesn't fit the buttons and I can't turn it off cause reasons. And the FAQ says "you can't change it. Was this article useful?" with over a 100 NO answers. That's gotta say something about the quality of translation.

Agreed as well. Loved this game when it first came out, but lack of new/modified maps is literally why I am burned out on the game. Every game started to feel really samey after 70 hours of playtime.

Among Us appeared.. Lol this game was released two years ago, focus. And btw it isn't anything special, just another copy-paste of the werewolf and mafia concept. There are far better ones out there. Better looking, more features, with people more genuinely interested in them and to follow the rules, than the hordes blindly following streamers and mostly spamming dumb lies that have nothing to do with the game or its theme.
