Fall Guy sweats when grabbing a ledge

Remember when we thought grabbing a ledge and letting go was a bug? Looks like hairy peak was right about Fall Guys not doing enough pull ups.

Anyways, so they added sweats when your Fall Guy isn't gonna make it up. Does anyone know why sometimes they'll sweat and let go or is it completely random?

same logic Sakurai used in Smash melee in regards to random tripping.

FG starts sweating if you are simply hanging from a ledge without inputting any forward momevent (to actually climb up). This was added to fix issues where players would indefinitely just hang. Now if you don't climb up, you start sweating and drop down instead.

But the main issue is still there: you try to climb up, but for some weird reason your bean doesn't want to, and then starts sweating. I mean, now you know that you're not gonna make it as soon as swept appears, but it's still messed.

Anyway, this bug annoys me way less than the F*CKING INVISIBLE WIND IN THE FIRST PLATFORM OF ICE PEAK. What the heck? You try to go through the yellow platform, but despite you don't have a fan in front of you you're still pushed down.

Before season 2, when you climb up something you have no choice but to climb it up, but that caused a bug where people would hang of edges forever.
With season 2 they changed it so the player needs to press ''W" to actually climb it up. if you do not, your bean sweats and falls down.
And in the same update, Wall Guys was added..... yeah......
You would often not climb up ledges (the mentioned bug) or the grab input would be ignored completely.
The mid season update fixed the ''inputs being ignored'' issue, bu the ''not climb up ledges'' issue became very common.
Season 3 in a try of fixing it just made it clear that your silver medal is no longer achievable.

i'd say the sweat was always there, but it got way more noticeable in a s2 update. i think it was 2.5

DUDE! I purposely avoid the yellow treadmill just because of that invisible fan!

because in s1 if you grab on a ledge nothing happens you stay there which was exploited even jump showdown before getting removed and getting fixed was cxheated in s1 tyou could grab on a ledge so this workaround sounds a good way

Wrong i never thought that and i've been playing since season 1 about half way through season 1 i think well sometime in augest 2020
