Isn't luck based, thats what bad players said to feel better with themselves.

Luck plays a huge factor.

When you're one of three people left in hex-a-gone, and you and another bean secured your own place to hop in safety, luck is the third bean making it to the other guy's platform and not yours, causing them to run and eliminate each other.

If the third bean jump to your plataform you just have to be better than him and overcome the situation. That is just a pvp thing, is not because RNG or something like that, and if the bean who jumps to you is better than you you will lose. If you got nervous and fail when something like that happens is your fault, not your luck.

At first I was excited that there were still folks who haven't won sticking around.
But then I saw it was some ♥♥♥ account necro'ing the thread and now I feel sad.
OP has only played 3 hours in the last 2 months.

Like so many others, they no doubt quit due to not being able to get one win.
Meanwhile there's a streamer with 6000+ wins and it's like...
Who watches that? How is someone always winning entertaining? Folks hated the Patriots in Superbowl for always winning cause it was boring.
I like to watch people tumbling over themselves trying to get that crown.
With the Keizuna AI skin coming out, I'm reminded that I don't think shes won even once yet.
That's the kind of stuff I'd watch, keeping fingers crossed they finally snag a win. It's like when TimTheTatman couldn't win. That was some gooooood ****.

Even if you take nice items at the begining any player with more skill than you, I mean, better positioning, better aim, better tactics... is going to kill you.
For what you said I think these players would kill you even before you know that they were near you.

um buddy you havent played a battle royale like pubg there is alot of skill and luck goes into it and the area you get a rifle good luck trying to fight 20 other people literlally

To this day I still have never been able to win a game, current PR is last two standing in finals.
(Context: Joined since Season 1, with 50+ hours of gameplay)

Came very close to winning many times but it just lucks out :(

i got my first win after about 45 hours in the game. It takes time but you will eventually make it
