I would say about 80% of the wins are fall mountain
8+8-2 = 14 wins
What's the secret? I'm one of the privileged people who always begin in the front row, but I still struggle to win Fall Mountain, I think I've only won it like 4 times. My problem are random cannon balls which seem to have a heat-seeking device running me over.
I've won Fall Mountain a few times now, my strategy is that the right side is key:
Start by sticking close to the middle-right. The first few balls are pretty consistent with the first ball going far-right. So the spinner on the right, if it hits you, should push you forward. Then stay in the middle-right while hugging the divider on your right, so you can squeak past most balls coming your way. After that, deviate far-right until the very end. Your only remaining obstacles should be where balls land and the spinners. It's very rare for balls to hit you from the sky while you hug the right, and the spinners, if they hit you, should again push you forward. Then it's just a matter of running toward the crown at the right time and pressing Trigger (do NOT dive).
If you're having particular trouble getting pelted by the balls, try adjusting your camera to look skyward more and move in anticipation of where the balls seem to be headed. I used to always lose this game, but now I win it ~40% of the time. Even got a win in a full group of 20 when I started back-left position. Definitely takes some practice and only a little bit of luck if you play it right.
