Parties with more than 4 people?

Hi, this game looks amazing, but I read in some of the threads here that the max party size is 4. Is the dev team open to increasing this limit in future? I think 8 would be a far better number for a game like this, with the game always making sure to put the grouped players on the same team for team-based games.

Impossible. Team games often have teams with fewer than 8 players. That's probably part of why you can only have 4 people in a party.

I see, well if that's the case I'd be fine being broken up if necessary, but just being able to be in the same game as more than 3 other friends would be really important to me.

That wouldn't work though. Take for example you are in a party of 10, and you get split 5 (blue) and 5 (red) on the egg collect level, you would just gang up on yellow.

That being said, I have found if serveral teams press go at the side the me you end up in the same lobby anyway.

It's very easy to make it so it splits 3-3-4 if it's a party of 10 players. A problem of having larger parties is you increase the risk of people transgressing the game rules and not acting fairplay.

Simple, you just have to split the team in the three teams, problem solved.

Yeah reading these responses makes me think that the only way it'd work is if the players are distributed as evenly as possible in different teams during team games. Which again, I'd be fine with!
