Once we have a solid date for the release we'll share more details about what other modes and feature will be in Early Access. We all hope you'll enjoy this free demo as part of the Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition and maybe even join the community Discord to share your best times.
Here's some feedback:
- Already cool and fun
- Needs ultrawide resolutions as well
- I wish the brakes were needed sometimes
So that's not actually assistance that you're experience. What you're feeling is the physically calculated nature of the car's momentum, followed by the rear tires biting into the asphalt when you accelerate.
The full game uses an updated handling model that will see most cars experiencing a bit less of that :).
Thanks for the response. It did also seem like power was being limited via traction control when exiting a corner - i.e. car seemed to push, in a limited way, and acceleration was dulled.
Having said that, I've really enjoyed trying to better my laptimes so far, graphics are great and some neat little touches, handling is generally very good especially considering this is an early build and not the latest version plus tyre degradation/damage/fuel depletion with pit-stops is a very nice surpirse!
I for one am looking forward to the Early Access and have enjoyed this type of game going back to Stock Car on the BBC B, Supercars and Skidmarks on the Amiga, etc and most recently Mantis Burn Racing.
Good luck with everything!
Great game. It is awesome.
This is actually one of my most wanted games, and has been since Microsoft showed it off at E3 2019.
Since it is already good and get deeper game play, and to give an hint for track design on picky level; the Demo track could get curbs before turn 3 (hairpin) on the right track boarder side (upper right point of the track). You can feel a certain need for them esp. when you drive the track in reverse direction. Given as a small cherry because I was happy when playing your demo.
