Idk, i really like the look of this game and ive been hoping someone would make something like this. I still feel the brakes are a little too strong, i know this is arcadey but the brakes (in my opinion) should be a little weaker, otherwise, this game looks great.

It has analogue braking, if that helps.

First of all I want to say that this is the best top-down driver game. The Physics are amazing and it´s realy fun to drive.. Obviously this is a pre alpha demo and in my opinion its already very nice to play.. There are some things I want to speak about.. I got some bugs in this Demo.. Like many sound bugs for exmaple: (I set the music and fx to 0 and after the first match it was back again at 100) I tested it localy and tried to use Parsec, so that my Mate can play via Parsec localy with me.. The Keyboard worked well, but the Controller doesn´t work.. Also I played the leaderboard at the end of the match showed sometimes only "???". Thats no game breaking bugs in my opinion.. and I understand that you shouldn´t put all the work into a demo Versions.. But I wanted to mention what failures I got =) All in all I ll love the game physics and I am going to preorder this game when its finished ^^

This demo was very promising! I really love the visual look of the game and the way the cars handle is fun to play. I'm excited to play the full game with a full suite of content but take you time developing. This has all the makings of a great top down racer, it just needs plenty of tracks, modes and cars that have different feel to them from one another.

I can't find the Demo download anywhere, can someone please provide me the link ?
There is no option to download the demo in the product page.

I think the demo was only made available during the latest Steam Game Festival, which ran for about a week but has now finished.

This feels like one of those stories where someone makes 2/3rds of a product as a 'demo.' then sells the same demo to a bunch of new investors, media, etc, before blowing all the seed money on yachts and blow.

There's no 'new investors' here. The publisher is still the same.

A lot of games were delayed in 2020 because of the pandemic. Why would you instantly assume it's because of misappropriated funds, rather than the same logistical issues that everyone else has been dealing with? At least this game now has a firm release window (Q1 this year).

If you think it 'feels like one of those stories' then that probably says more about your own outlook than the game itself. :\

For the delay (and lack of regular commentary) they should just let the demo be available. Yeah, I was totally kidding and being sarcastic because I'm an impatient child with a smooth brain. Is the pandemic enough of an excuse for such an exasperated delay though, even when this industry can mostly work remotely? You're probably right, but it does seem a little drawn out.

Well, the game was originally scheduled for '2020'. It's now scheduled for Q1 2021. If the game was originally on track for a late 2020 release (hypothetically) then the delay has only been a few months, which is not that big of a delay. Even if it was on track for early 2020 than the delay was still less than a year, which is not much at all.

And I don't know what the details are for Steam Game Festival, but maybe they have to sign some deal where the demo is exclusive to the event because Steam wants to pump up their daily users or something.
