New Updates In Near Future?

I love this game and I am hoping the developers will NOT abandon this game.

The game has a lot of potential and hopefully developers will add more depth to the game.

Does anyone know if the developers are still interested in the game and have not abandoned it?

I have zero idea why people say that, but it's like 3rd post I am writing same reply.

Game is not "abandoned" because game is simply "completed". Yes that is a thing. Game was in Early Access, developers dropped all the updates and moved on. It's a complete experience and now they either focus on Karting Superstars, their other steam game, or they cook up something I haven't heard about. I honestly don't follow them much so I coudln't tell.

But to answer your question, no there will be no new updates in near future.

I wish they'd add a third person view like their newer game.. They've shown they can do it because its literally the same exact game, just with karts - But I guess that'd defeat the purpose of buying their new game.

They might make such in Circuit Superstars 2...if rumours about a sequel are true

Well, I hope they would add the Joker Lap to Rallycross then ;-) . Altough, maybe as optional feature as for most beginners it is an unkown concept.

Just make a tutorial for it, easy. Single race, 3-4 laps, "hey this thing is Joker, do it once per race". It ain't rocket science
