There's plenty of indie arcade racers out there if you don't want the top-down experience. Maybe something like Star Drift, Art of Rally or the like is more your thing if that's the case.
I disagree. I think the art style is the charm of this game and the reason I bought it initially
Yes. This is why I stopped playing and don't recommend it. My review will remain negative until an option is added.
Not really. It's called 'nostalgic' for a reason, there are plenty of games with this as the style point going back decades.
Good. Some of us just want to have easy, relaxing, fun game to play. It doesn't always have to be challenging, especially when it doesn't need to be. I drive in iRacing when I want to have a challenge. ;)
I have Art of Rally and enjoy it. Unfortunately it lacks other cars to race and it's just time trials essentially. The other game is centered around drifting, which can be fun but isn't really comparable.
