Right now matchmaking is based on your best connection, if there are no servers or other players with a similar connection you will not be able to find a game.
If you are looking for more players try the Discord server. There are lots of other players in there that are hopefully have a similar connection as yours.
Still i hope this will be a thing in the future. One of my friends refunded immediately when he found out he could not make private lobbies to race your friends...
If people wish to play online, they have to be in a situation where their connection matches the quality of others, looking for a game at the same time.
It would be a shame for this title not to succeed through the inability to setup servers public or private.
I mean did you expect we want to play without our friends?
Online in this type of game has just been abandoned.
Sorry, could you expand on what you mean, please?
The game has only just entered Early Access and we're still working on it, it's not been abandoned and would like to understand more what you meant.
Because the multiplayer mode in most games ends up being abandoned by users. You are not going to add cross play. In the medium term in online mode there will be no players.
-Because most of the early access games end up being abandoned (subject under study by the European authorities and that companies like Valve do not do to avoid it)
I am convinced that this game (like most) will end with the empty online mode of players and with the development abandoned.
That is why the important thing is really the single player mode, so that although the online mode ends up abandoned it is a great offline game.
First, this is your opinion, which you are entitled to, but isn't fact. We are working hard to foster a welcoming community so that there is a constant pool of players to enjoy online with. You're welcome to join the community on Discord to find other players to play with if you decide to purchase the game (here's the Discord Link [Discord.gg].
It sounds like you've been bitten by other titles that have used the Early Access route. I'm sorry if that is the case and understand that Early Access might not be your cup of tea. But hopefully you will continue to follow Circuit Superstars and see what we have planned and maybe change your mind.
Time will put and take reasons.
Hopefully I'm wrong but most of these games end up abandoned (and we'll see what the European Union says in the future).
However I will play your game and if in the future I am wrong I will buy it.
I hope you are as honored as possible with the entire community.
You can now team up with friends to join online matches to take on others.
Looking forward to seeing you on the track.
