Blue Max Mod
Hi,

I have been trying to get more information on the contents of various components of the Blue Max Mods.

Some of the components are rather obvious, but others are a bit of a mystery. In particular, the component simply titled "Blue Max". I assume that this mod contains various mods to the game's mechanics, but I would like to understand what exactly these changes are before committing to them.

Hi

Blue Max does not change any game mechanics, and there are a variety of different mods within it so you can try out different ones and decide which one(s) you may prefer.

I use the unit counters, but not the blue max mod itself so far as I really enjoy the colours of the original map, however I've noticed that some things are a little weird when you do this: the unit counters are the new ones, but no longer display the 'no AP' logo, but revert to the greying out of the originals and there's probably more. The attack cross hair's also gone. I don't mind in any case. Next game I'll probably try either full blue max or non blue max.

Ha!

I actually do the opposite.

I enjoy the map but prefer standard NATO counters.

:D I'm still pretty new to the game and 'll probably try a different configuration next! I'm also thinking my preference might depend on the campaign/how zoomed in the map is. Must say the road network is pretty visible with blue-max.
