There are a lot of differences as SC WW1 has had a huge number of new features added, generally to improve gameplay and the AI. One of many being that it uses hexes whereas our Classic games used Tiles.
It can still be worth getting the Classic game as it does include more campaigns, and in a way it would probably be better to play that first then move onto the more recent SC WW1 game, because if you were to do it in reverse then you'd miss all the new features that aren't in the older game.
Our newer games also come with a much better method of using graphics Mods, so if you don't like or fancy a change from the designs that come with the game (both 3-D and NATO) you can also activate via the Options screen some of the user Mods.
Some of these (from the Blue Max mod) can be seen here:

I hope this helps but if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.
I have seen the classic game played by some guys on YouTube.
The historical details made me want to buy it.
So you would recommend me to play the classic game first because of the campaigns.
Do both games contain a "big" campagin that includes the whole great War from his beginning to his end?
Yes they do, in fact more than one as both games include some alternate ones, e.g. Triple Alliance where Italy remains part of the Central powers.
