So you're saying that, in console terms that MZ is backwards compatible with MV? That's really neat, I want to see and experience it for myself

The database converter should be very useful for people wanting to migrate their project from MV to MZ.

Has the MV Trinity DLC received any updates? All the reviews say the generator parts are incompatible with MZ since they have different template bases. If you already have MV, then you already have half the contents anyways.
