However MZ and MV use different base templates. And there's no "body type" selection. The Side-View battlers look nearly identical except they're posed differently, so MV parts will NOT match MZ.
The MV Trinity DLC for MZ is practically useless if you don't already have MV's generator to import it into. Or have skills with photo editing software.
Edit: The DLC page says you can use the assets by "switching out" the files. Which is ridiculous and tedious.
I don't know who to be mad at. The Devs, for not including the ability to change resource libraries? Or whoever decided to sell MV Trinity resources with not-MV?
Do you think it's worth moving to MV because it has all of the generator parts dlc?
Maybe that's why MV Trinity's DLC page has no screenshots or promotions.
Or maybe that's why they CAN'T sell MV Trinity on the MV, because it would mean taking those others down.
Other than that, I think the only other Generator DLC there is, is the Beastman Set. Which doesn't look very professional.
I've seen that and it looks meh. I'm disappointed as I can't continue my project when the engine lacks so much parts.
Exactly my thought. I noticed how quiet this community as well, but I thought it may have been due to the slow transition of people moving across from MV to MZ, but that doesn't seem to be it. From my understand this MZ should've been an update for MV. Not a copy and paste with a new name title.
I got in touch with the Youtuber who done the above video and I asked him if he had to re-arrange any parts to make it work and his response was:
"They don't match in style. (So you may not be fully able to use them together, while creating a character.)
They do match technically, in their dimension. (So you can add them to the same generator. And use them on each other.)
I did not make any adjustments to body parts"
I actually like MZ better than MV but you can port just about everything to either or except for the generator parts.
