I don't know a solution for using it on a second screen, but this should at least make MZ work again, on your main screen.
MZ on a second screen seems to cause problems more often, so if you work on 2 screens best to have RPG maker on the main screen, and whatever else you do on the other.
Hope that helps!
First of all, thanks for your help!!
However it is still not working for me. When I started the application, it automatically went to the 2nd screen and I tried the shift+right-clicking method and it didn't do anything.
Now I am still trying to move this back to my main screen ....
Any other ideas how to set the default screen to the main screen?
If that doesn't fix it, then I don't know... Sorry.
Method 1: Right-click the program on the taskbar, and then click Move. Move the mouse pointer to the middle of the screen. Use the ARROW keys on the keyboard to move the program window to a viewable area on the screen. Press enter.
Method 2: Click on the icon in the taskbar. Hold Win+Shift, then press the left or right directional keys until the window appears on your desktop.
It's also possible that the window is failing to maximize, if neither of the methods above restore your window, please try this solution to force maximize the application.
- Click on the icon on the taskbar, press Alt and Space bar together, and select maximize on the popup menu.
One way to have the program running is:
1.- Disconnect all the extra screens before open it.
2.- Open the program
Then the program will be open in you main (unique) screen.
The program must work. And now you can connect the extra sceens but Remember KEEP the program in the main screen, do not move to secondary or third screen or will fail, if you do that, you only need need do the same process.
Walk-around if the program is open in other screen (even if you already disconnected them)
1.- Disconnect all the extra screens before open it.
2.- Open the program
3.- Move manually the program to the main screen (you can use the Maximize option from a browser or somethign like that to have the browser in right side and the program in left side)
4.- Once you have the program in your main screen, close it.
5.- Launch the program again, that one will be displayed in your main screen.
Please check my OS details, maybe that can help you.
