mz does not open at all.

i use win 10. ive had zero issues in the past with these games but when im opening it it says its running but the game just doesnt open. i have deleted and reinstalled about 10 times. ive set it to run on windows 8/7/and vista to try it all out. ive even ran it as admin and nothing.
so ive been becoming more and more frustrated XD

does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Okay, this is a weird question, but... Have you ever had a second screen connected to your PC/Laptop?

it could be that MZ is running on the second screen, even though you don't have the second screen plugged in at the moment.

Normally windows would put everything back on 1 screen, when the 2nd screen is disconnected, however, if you have sub-menu's open (like the database, or the plugin list) then it is impossible to move RPG maker. It will still be located outside the screen, even though there is no 2nd screen connected to it.

Small chance, but... If this is the case, then re-installing won't work. What you need to do is reconnect that 2nd screen and relocate RPG maker window yourself before disconnect the 2nd screen.

Are you running it from the Steam Client ('Launch') or from the desktop? I've noticed that running from the desktop doesn't seem to connect to Steam so Steam thinks I've only run it for a couple of hours. Open Task Manager and then try running it to see if 'RPGMZ' shows up. Then check Event Viewer for any error messages.

hey hey so i i do have 2 screens on my pc but it just refuses to open. like even when i highlight it from the task bar and it shows nothing.

ive ran it with steam and from desktop. its weird

Hmmm. And you are in desktop mode? Don't try to run this in tablet mode. That will just... ... ... That should not even be available on a PC. :p
