Japanese sample MZ games and improved performance

Now, MV met many requirements that I wanted from previous versions of the Maker (Mac and Web export, built-in mouse support and more) but the place it always was worse than previous makers was stuttering and glitches it had in exported games with both graphics and sound. Even on a test export with no autorun events or other things that can tax it, even when the FPS was fine, map scrolling while moving always had semi-regular annoying stuttering on PCs that show no similar issues with other 2D games, not to mention AAA 3D games. There were various plugins made that tried to address the issue, and I tried all I could find, but never could get these issues to go away with exported games.

Well, the biggest thing I notice with MZ sample games is these issues seem gone, and from discussions I've read this has to do with the updated PIXI library in the code/better memory management in the code, etc. (It may or may not make things better for mobile exports, but I'm not aiming for that).

So while I understand some complaints that MZ's new features don't feel like a great leap forward overall, for myself this performance improvement has me sold on finally being able to use the engine without that huge frustration.

Also, I hope someone translates the sample game where the female lead has a radar dish on the side of her head.

Personally I want SoulsLore to be translated. But yea the performance is top notch for RMMZ. And with an updated chromium player pc/mac exports will no longer degrade overtime due to memory leaks from bad image handling. There were a lot of factors contributing to the poor performance that you would get from MV. Thankfully a lot of that has been addressed, the only issue now is the wait till release, and the almost troll like sounds of people complaining that there aren't enough new features, or that it isn't in 3d yet. Or doesn't have x games battle system by default.

I can't start new game in `9saikarahazimeru_konkatsuno_susume`.
It tells me, that some piece of tileset are missing, but i just downloaded this sample game and i think, that all important resources are coming with this game itself!
Missing file is "%E2%98%85Inside_B%26C.png"...

UPD: Missing files are those tilesets:

For 9saikarahazimeru_konkatsuno_susume, I was getting those errors too. In Window's Region settings, I had to switch 'Language for non-Unicode programs' to Japanese and reboot before unzipping the game. Doing so allows the Japanese characters to correctly appear in all the file names when unzipping, which seems to solve the file loading errors.

Really, I'm surprised I didn't need to do this for all the games, but apparently that sample game is the only one where the non-unicode switch is essential...

...Although, I haven't played completely through the other sample games, so it's entirely possible one of them could have some file loading issue later during the playthrough that will require me the re-unzip it too with Japanese non-unicode in place.

For 9saikarahazimeru_konkatsuno_susume I edited the game file itself and renamed the file to eliminate the 'special' characters that caused the problem...
