Bellyaching alert!
So, this instead of a review (which would have had to be a negative one at this point). At the end of the day, I’m just not enjoying my experience with Unexplored 2. I feel like most of the time I am playing it I’m getting punched in the shoulder by the game. Even after turning most of the difficulty options down to trivial, the game frustrates. Not entirely clear objectives, a world that feels defeated almost before you even begin, a convoluted overworld map icon system, tedious searching and puzzle solving all just make me feel I am wasting my time more than not. Each time I died I felt my momentum grind to a halt, and having to start over, even with the legacy system in place, became a bigger and bigger hill to climb. I never got confident in my ability to be successful in the game, and that just wore me down. I feel like my 19 hours was enough to give the game a fair shake.

Best of luck to the developers. You truly have something unique here—like playing a very deep board game solo. I just wish it was more for me.
