Missing so many watches when I shouldn't

So I think I've run into a MAJOR bug. I just finished the final boss; having collected all the pocketwatches, at least according to the totals on the stage select hub. However, the game says that, despite getting all the watches in the levels AND bosses; that I am only at 9278 out of 10000! I literally went through every world and double, triple and quadruple-checked to make sure I wasn't missing any and sure enough I have them all. Am I missing something?

If erverything is right, you should have 9280 pocketwatches.

I believe if you are in a stage/hub where you got al pocketwatches, the watchfinder/radar should always point in the opposite directon you facing.
If you have 100% everywhere and still les than 9280 pocketwatches then there probably is something buged.

If you get 9280 pocketwatches and 110 ancient stones, you unlock a sceret stage.
Enctrance to the secret stage apperas in the hub area of "Bunny I shrunk the chimp".
In the secret stage you can find the last pocketwatches and 5 more ancient stones .

i am stuck at the exact same number. i have double checked all the level counters and they are all complete, which makes no sense as it should end in at least a multiple of 10 then.

the hare today gong tomorrow level said 900/900, but i just went in there and used the backpack. it pointed me to a vase im surprised i missed, with 4 watches. i now have 9282 total. not sure if this unlocked whatever final level there must be

edit: the extra vase did unlock the secret and i ended with 10002

I'm missing 1 pocketwatch to unlock the bonus stage. Says i'm missing 1 in Tempus Tombs's boss level Cleocatra. But using the scanner it acts like there's none in the stage. Gone through the stage like 5 times, but can't find it either. I did crash during the level so it might be bugged for me. (Crashed 5 times through my playthrough. One in the ending cutscene which sucks) I also looked through every other level, and scanner can't find anything, and they're all 100%ed. Guess i'd have to play through the whole game again.

i didn't have a single crash, mostly just framerate issues. theres definitely something screwy that hopefully gets fixed since 100% is half the point of these games

Saw the game kept the saves here:

I opened ...\GameSave\0\PKT.PSHGameDataSaveFile_save with Notepad++, and it seems to not be encrypted or compressed.
So can just change the "watchesCollectedCount":199, to "watchesCollectedCount":200,
and "globalData":{"totalWatchesCount":9279, to "globalData":{"totalWatchesCount":9280,
Then save. (After backing up my save first)

Edit: Can confirm it works. Can now enter the bonus level, and Cleocatra boss level is fixed.

same bug , i am 9278.. but its say the 2 i miss are the crash boss.. but i played the level over 50 times , and there nothing i am missing.. but its say i am 68/70

I talked to the dev on Twitter, as it's a known issue. There is a vase in Hare Today, Gong Tomorrow (the China level) that respawns every time you leave and return. If you are under on your pocket watch count, just go to that level and use your radar to find the respawning vase. I have been searching to see if using this vase will allow you access to the SECRET1 level, so I'm glad you were able to confirm. I was unsure if I should start over or not - in the level The Great Wen, it says I've completed it 100% but my pocket watch count is 599/600.
