need help with sultan quest

I know you used to be able to build shattered ruins in the base village, but I don't have that option. Currently level 12 on the epoch reed quest, it just says to go to the shattered ruins... but I don't have any tracking for it or any way to build it currently. Anyone know where I need to go to finish the sultan quest?

If it's all the way on the left side, then I think I might have figured out the problem. The game won't let me scroll all the way left to build things there... and I'm not sure what setting would fix that.

The new update seems to have messed up how far you can zoom out so I had to use the fov increase mod on the workshop to be able to scroll over and build it.

Just wanted to say I have the same issue as well - the above screenshot is as far as I can scroll to the left. As can be seen even the edge of the far western logging camp is only half in the shot.

It can be done. Enter the building menu, move the screen as far as possible, then click cancel and quickly re-enter the building now you should have a greater range

The sulatn's epoch quest doesn't work for me, it just puts me against a toxopholite and then gives me some rewards, anyone know a solution?

hmmm i did the sultan questline again a while ago but its hard to remember since it worked without issues for me,
i remember doing the quest at golden hills bazaar, the drunk sleeping guy a little south of it
you need a couple (i think 5) bitter flowers for him, you find them in umbra cliffs
wait a bit or follow him until he reaches the untrespassable bandit outpost in the north west
once you get the confirmation that he reached it you can ask for him, fight the bandits
(theres also a ballista there that you can pick up and get as free troop squad!)
those bandits talk something about the epoch reed
after that i did the weird sultan dungeon again and had to decide if i want to burn the flower
i decided not to but the sultan decided to burn it anyway
as a reward you get a pretty damn good aoe disable that also deals damage
