Oh! I kept seeing talk about marriage on a few other sites, so I thought it was already available. Thank you for the information!
Tavern Girls: Now, after you confess your love to a tavern girl, you can further develop the relationship, and there will be a chance for her to bear your child after some time.
(who then gets 2 varying avatars for each gender and gets questioned events for growing up stats).
but last time i did this is like a year ago
i hope when children get added to the game they will be heroes to take into battle
no
As for the child rearing, It takes a long long long time but they turn out to be incredibly powerful heroes that you can take into battle.
Your mate will be pregnant for a lot of in game days, then child is born, then many in game days until they are no longer a baby (becomes child, then many days until adolescent, then many more days until adulthood. I want to say in total its like 300 in game days or something. During this time you will get notified of some events, and you make a decision that in the end determines what their skills/ likes/ stats will turn out like. Also for their coming of age ceremony you will be asked to give them a gift, of a piece of gear from any of your party members/self. You will get to keep the original but your child will have an heirloom version that has greatly increased stats on it.
It would be awesome if you could choose to play as your child in your next playthrough. Maybe OP though. My child started out with for instance, 300 spirit where my character a spiritmancer had 200 spirit at level 20. I was also able to give her a skilltree. I chose the book of fire skill tree at near endgame....
Your lady tells you nice things about whats going on with your child throughout its upbringing and you have to go see it and interact with it. You arent some deadbeat dad that just shows up at the end to take them away. It was actually very cute, and a great addition to the game. one of my favorite parts really. Maybe im just getting old and sentimental.
Plus its the common done thing in games and would be common thing to do in such situations (including historically happening plenty) Both of which have done far less content and "worse".
Few being MnB Bannerlord, Fire Emblem, and possibly "worst offender" of the three examples I can think of off top my head Massive Chalice.
