I cnat find any guides for her. I found one reddit post that doesn't seem to work.

The post says I have to do a quest for a guy in West Docana who wants me to fetch his sister.

I remember doing that, but he gave me nothing for it. The reddit post said the guy was supposed to give me a book for a beggar, but I've looked carefully through my inventory and I have no such book.

What am I missing here? How do I get Tasha?

Yes, that guy will give you a quest item in the form of a book of some sort which you can give to a begger in turn. If you missed the item or you sold it, you can try save scumming for it in the flower town of umbra cliff as the vendor there will sometimes sell it.
