Legendary units

Hello,

Does anyone know where or how to acquire legendary untis such as Bane and Fire dragons, Dryads, etc?

I got Fire dragons at least. And I had to turn of real mode in game content configuration. This will allow you to recruit dragons and other mythical creatures. At the expense of higher exp cost and other stuff. Also unbalancing (Aka a dragon can kill a army of soldiers)

Where did you get the fire dragon?

I found a single bane wymling in a prison, which means I have to find another 3 to promote to dragon

I got myself an Ice Dragon after an encounter with some ice mage standing outside a cave, she can be found in the snow country on the right of redkeep map

you can get ice dragon and demon from mini quests but not phoenix, bane dragon or fire dragon, that I know

I have found multiple fire dragons and ice dragons from the creature's prison on umbral cliff (looks like a cavern with two statues at the front) and the mystical portal to the northwest of snowridge, near a pond that has free jade drops. Also, the topleft corner of umbral cliff has a high level prison that can give you legendary creatures although most of the time, they just give normal creatures such as leopards.

On the other hand, I have yet to see a single bane dragon, so I am unsure how to acquire them.

I got a bane wyrm today in the top left prison in the swamp, it's right behind nagukka, but it's random so you can save the game and try, and reload if it's not what you want.

You also need to do this 4 whooping times if you want the promoted unit for the achievement

I wonder if the sandworm queen is the best unit in the game as it requires 5 prison drops to make one

I finally acquired a fire dragon and have 3 chick phoenixes from the 4 spots that I mentioned before, though I have yet to get a single venom hatchling for the bane dragon.

It was really tough, I already had 2 fire hatchling and 2 chick phoenixes from visiting the places in my normal playthrough, however, obtaining two fire hatchling and a single chick took me like 2 hours reseting the dungeon until I got what I wanted.

bane dragon also come from that dungeon. i already get phoenix and multiple dragons, but I never encounter an angel. I think im really a sinner. lol.

on really really rare occasion some of mithycal creature even sell by the mercenary, I got a squad of dryad archer from mercenary.

and yes they are super OP when fight human party. but balance enough for fighting on the end game.

My end game :
Somehow on my play through Ifrit army general that roaming on map is very difficult to beat, they killed my mythical creature sometime, and when raid their town, a dragon or a phoenix killed is almost normal things since they bring demon on their army, and their mage use high damage very wide area attack, and since they start as a hostile party they always spread chaos on my caravan and city

personally I don't think angels are attainable. This is because every super unit has an achievement, but there is none for angel.

I've also completed the game and never encountered one. Plenty of demons though.

If what You recognize as angel, could be called Fairy, exists in 3 elements like dragons. I found a group of 2 by the beast merchant near golden bazaar outpost.

Very recently I found an Arcangel, we can found her as the guardian of the Direspring (witch dungeon) but like you said she is not listed on achievement so.. maybe a secret unit? or only appear as dungeon boss?

Wait, you can get legendary units from beast sellers unless fairies aren't recognized as one? Legendary units such as phoenix or dragon hatchlings

the grinding to get this higher tier troops in a single dungeon is so difficult.
