Spiritual Successor to Boku no Natsuyasumi (My Summer Vacation) on PS1?

I got this for free from the Humble Trove, and I can't help but notice its similarities with the My Summer Vacation series - another relaxing slice of life series that started on PS1. Was that a primary influence? Is this game made by the same developers?

It's a 3DS game by the creator of that series. It's very good. Just get an emulator.

its pretty much boku natsu but just the 10 minute of it. It's rather dry for me since unlike boku natsu, this one just confines you inside a house.

Which I guess is fine since that's the whole point of the game.
