So to begin with I have only played my tutorial game thus far, and based on that I have the following feature requests. (if any of these are in a 'new game' then I will try that)

1) I would like to see some goals in the game. Simple survival, quickly turns to repetition for the sake of repetition. There should be a goal, as an example: until you find land, or until you are found (with a time-frame)

2) We should be able to make a method of propulsion for the raft... namely a sail. Which in addition to helping with the above request, would let us get to certain objects easier.

Also, Rain should water the palm trees

Maybe an overhaul so the game doesn't look like a Raft clone?

As software tester and as gamer for years i have to suggest 5 possible great improvements!

1) Random events
-Weather effects : Storm or Typhoon damaging your raft

2) Player effects
-Temperature (from cold to hot) to force you to wear clothes and drink water
-Poison effect : to force player make remedies
-Bleeding effect : to force player make bandages

3) Islands
- More creatures like bees, mosquito, jellyfish, piranhas,
- Terraforming : give tools on the player to dig deep and find minerals!
- Abandoned villages, camps, caves etc
-Treasure maps : Treasure detector, Pickaxe

4)Lore
-Hidden messages on bottles
-Quests to make the player move from island to island with more curiosity

5)Foods
-Fewer quantity of plants
-Spoil after a few hours

This is great game and i am waiting improvements on :
-Exploration +++
-Survive +++
-PVP +++

I can participate on closed beta testing if you want. Keep up the good work
i love your game!!!

This game has got some good basics going for it, but does get repetitive after a while. i would like to see more achievements being made available.

Build 25 water collectors for example and get the water farm award. build 50 and get the water factory award. How about introducing refillable plastic bottles? Considering how much real plastic garbage is in our oceans today, scooping those out of the ocean and reusing them for water storage would be feasible. That would also introduce a new crafting item, the fish net!

Same goes for farming, considering how limited dirt availability is in this game, building various garden and or palm tree planters could also be additional achievement incentives. Build 25 palm tree planters and get the tree farm award. build 50 and get the coconut factory award! same goes for the individual planter and the big box planters. 25 gets the green thumb award and 50 gets the plantation award.

the one thing I would really like to see is a fatigue meter. Since the player gets hungry and thirsty, it seems reasonable that they would get tired and need rest as well. Since bed building isn't available until a higher experience level is reached, a woven mat or hammock crafting item could be introduced that is make out of rope. lots of rope to craft it too, please... lol

looking forward to seeing what the next updates will bring

I need help!
An achievement of this game on my steam profile is in trouble.
The Craftsman achievement (the easiest achievement to achieve in the game) was not achievable due to a problem I am not aware of. This achievement is just missing for me to "platinize" the game on steam. I would like to claim the deposit of the achievement in my profile for the company IO Games. But I couldn't find any contact email for their support. I need this achievement, I lost many hours of my life playing this game that was very good for me, I would like to platinum it, any help would be useful! Thank you!
There's quite nice set of ideas I've already thought of, so I really don't have much to add, but:

Capability to learn some new skills and/ or make an advancement for some constructs.
- for example, there could be books/ scribbled notes/ etc on some of the abandoned places for the character to read and study, which in turn would lead learning to make more tools (like that pickaxe mentioned in another post) or upgrade the quality of current ones (like wood hammer to stone hammer).
- for the advancement, there could also be some "trial and error" kind of things that give character an idea to improve things (Example scenario: *after losing some vegetables for weather/ gulls* "Hmm, I need to find a way to better protect my vegetables from the harmful effects of the weather and gulls..." -> new quest: part 1: build a scarecrow against the thieving seagulls. part 2: build a mini greenhouse (could be something like a clear plastic dome set above the vegetable planter))

Possible NPC encounters.
- Perhaps main character wasn't the only survivor after all and he could find some of them drifting on their rafts (could also add the survival vibe through rationing for more than one person, assuming that MC accepts them on their raft)
- There could also be options to trade with the survivors or fend them off, assuming that they're planning to take over MC's raft (could also go other way around and MC's doing the piracy)
- Some islands could have a small tribe or group of survivors living in there (once again with options to trade and/ or pillage)

Also, if there's going to be poison, there could be some herbal remedies (plants could be found in the islands, for example) to be made or supply boxes got from planes/ ships could contain some medicine.

Edit: Oh yeah, there's also a teeny tiny issue.
Whenever I try to craft some of the items (rope, hammer, etc), clicking either the craft command or item of choice to craft makes it to swift to build-screen and vice versa (even if I'm not having the hammer equipped). Usually I try not to mind, but when there's a moment I really need to get things crafted/ built fast, it's getting really irritating. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Thanks for the ideas! We will think about it, and maybe something will be added in the future :)

some great ideas up here for future updates. wanted to add a couple ideas. i have only played 9.5hrs level 13 almost 14 so let me know if i'm missing something.
Can you see how many days you have survived for? would be good if it popped up on each morning or somewhere on your inventory?
can we have some diving added at some stage? sunken wrecks, chests etc that can be obtained?
along with this mechanical equipment eg. air tanks, motors, solar panels maybe?
I guessing a map will be added when islands become available??
And i know it's probably been mentioned before but multiplayer would be awesome even if each player started in a different part of the map and had to work towards each other?
just a thought, love to hear yours.
