DualSense Issues on Windows 11
Hello, I see a lot of threads about controller issues here but haven't had any luck. The glyphs on autodetect use PC icons. In game, walking is bound to the right stick and when I got the vacuum its permanently stuck on. Menu navigation in game is odd too, the bumpers don't work, its making me use the left stick to change menus.

I tried Steam Input, but no change. Holding N and M at the controller options also didn't change anything.

DualSense via Bluetooth, Windows 11 23H2.

Hi! Thanks for reaching out and sorry you're having trouble with that :( The game should natively support the DualSense Controller, but after a quick test I do see the DualSense showing PC icons. I don't, however have the other symptoms.

The first part is easily fixed from Settings -> Controls. There's an option to override the displayed input type.

For the other issues, I'm surprised enabling Steam Input didn't work. Sometimes I wonder how Steam Input is even supposed to function 😂 Do you by chance have custom mappings for Steam Input or did you simply try enabling it? If the former, could you send a picture of the remapping?

Can you check you have the latest firmware? Sony has a tool for Windows to update it (https://controller.dl.playstation.net/controller/lang/en/2100004.html). After updating be sure to turn your controller off and back on again. I had a minor panic where after installing the update, I got no inputs from the controller.

As a quick sanity check, there's an online input checker ( https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad) where you can verify that the buttons are being recognized correctly.

Are you by chancing using any 3rd party controller tools or looked into using any like DS4Windows (https://ds4-windows.com/)? DS4Windows basically wraps the PlayStation inputs and converts them to XBox inputs.

Hey, I've experienced similar problems, my controls start to drift a bit and i cannot throw more than one pip. I've tried the check ups you suggested but it still does not work. It just stopped working properly midgame. Any suggestions what else I could try?

Sorry for the late reply. Drifting controls could be a bit ambiguous. Do you mean like when you aim, the cursor just randomly moves around without your touching it?
