Another solution would be to ask on the Team Junkfish Discord server if people want to join and to see when some more people are playing. But thats up to you :)
They seem confused honestly. Like they know the game's a flop but they don't know what to do with it now, so they're just pushing out small-scale updates at a snails pace.
Team Junkfish is a small indie studio, you can't expect them to push out big updates in a month. The march update was a bigger one that added loads of things and changed quite a bit in terms of balance. A new roadmap will also be published in some time.
And they do listen to feedback and suggestions, most notably on the Discord but also on the forums. But there are some things that the devs just won't do or won't consider as it isn't what they want the game to be. For example: They do not want to add singleplayer and AI, M2 will be multiplayer only. The devs have stated this multiple times.
game is empty just like Last Year's asymetrical PvP, unfinished gameplay loop with no carrot
0 players online besides a 4 hour period near primetime EU
not enough content, more updates needed, too much Janky animations
because of the oneshot grabs every killer has, it feels like your playing against T3 Tombstone Myers for all monsters, all monsters feel similar to go against
Monstrum 2 released WAY too early, it has killed all hype for the game
Home Sweet Home Survive is the only competitor that did it right by building a good live service foundation before releasing in Early Access with a varied gameplay loop and carrot to chase and a roadmap with regular quarterly content drops
(edit) Identity V also exists but is mobile only
The game is quite literally unplayable because they decided not to market the game well and nobody else is playing it. Waiting for the game to be in a better state before advertising it works a lot better with any other genre. With multiplayer it just doesn't work, because for multiplayer games to even be played there needs to be a lot of players.
