GAME DOES NOT LAUNCH - PLEASE HELP!!!!

I tried installing DirectX as another thread mentioned it, but that did not work. Can someone please help. How do we contact the developer?

UPDATE: This solution worked for me from another thread...

I have stumbled upon a solution. Apparently there is an issue with newer generation intel processors with this game. https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019775837?product=gog follow the steps on this page and it should work. I realized it when my girlfriend's PC ran the game fine only difference between her machine and mine is her CPU is Ryzen and I have Intel. Game works perfectly now.

Already solved this problem, as mrcrowley111 said, it was because of the problem of Intel OpenSSL, thank you mrcrowley111.

I would love a solution to this problem (since I have not been able to play "Blair Witch" after my recent purchase of a new computer) but I am very hesitant to mess with my system just for the sake of one piece of gaming software. I am of the opinion that this is a problem that needs to be solved by the people of BLOOBER TEAM, not us gamers. So please BLOOBER TEAM, fix "Blair Witch" so it can be played on newer systems again. It won't take much of your time, since the solution is already known, as described by the link mrcrowley111 has provided. Thanks in advance.
