Though it has run flawlessly on my potato.
I am sure it does.
The game runs terribly, a huge middle finger to the buyers. No need to defend it because you are clearly a fan.
Hah, sure alright.
I've got 200 odd games linked to my Steam profile and out of them, pretty much every single one runs fine as well as all the other stuff on here. Of course you do get broken games, they do happen.
But when you get a game that runs perfect for the majority of people, but not yourself, it's not the game it's you.
Boohoo you spent how many every thousand dollars on your PC, learn how use it. Then things will actually work as intended.
I guess this is one of those 1% of the times then.
Are you joking or really that clueless? There are many articles that mentions how the game is a broken mess, user complaints and so on, so no, it doesn't run perfectly on any PC. Sure if you lower the setting to the minimum it could run "perfectly" even on your potato of a PC, it doesn't make it "perfect" in the real world sadly.
I have been spending thousands of dollars on PCs, setting them up both hardware and software-wise and running them flawlessly since 2001, I don't take fanboys (or kids in this case) with PC Master Race profile pics telling me how to use my PC properly, seriously.
"Boohoo" someone insulted a game you like, must protect the crappy port with all your power. Get a life.
Just because a lot of people don't know what they are doing, doesn't make the game broken.
There are a lot of flat earthers, do you believe the earth is flat?
No I haven't lowered setting heaps, just running the appropriate ones.
There we go, found it the "I spent lots of money it can't be me, I can't have spent lots of money and then get it all wrong".
Money doesn't by knowledge. Doesn't matter how much you spend if you don't know what you are doing.
Yeah, because every single user and news site is wrong except you, makes sense. You are a prime example of delusional fanboy.
I mentioned money because YOU mentioned how I "spent thousands of dollars" on my PC. Just gave you your confirmation.

I can run all my other games on 1440p or 4K resolution without problems, just this one and AC Oddysey (well, but this one has a very good graphics and open world) are needed to be downgraded until 1080p, and even on 1080p it has some jumps to 50-55 fps, that sucks!
Im running on an i9 9900k and rtx 2080 ti so i can confirm the game's optimization is not the best and it sure isnt playable without the resolution scaling, too blurry and non detailed
there is barely any difference in quality settings....
people need to step away from playing on ultra 4k....and yes this game is really slow....but the foliage / trees is impressive too...
