To get this ending, when you are carrying the dog along that looping pass (("Let ___ dogs lie" bit))
Don't put the dog down, just keep walking until you pass out. It takes a while, and listening to the dog be in pain is pretty sad, so grab your phone or something to distract you while you do it and just look up at the screen ocassionally to move you or until your vision is super dark and blurry so you don't miss it.
Are you sure?
Bug with achievement then? I did this in my let's play (editing it now), but I never got that achievement. Do I have to do something more?
PS: I even see Bullet alive at the end, but this achievement enver unlocked for me.
the last problem to bother you: what else do i need to do with this achivement?
So just to assure you, the achievement isn't bugged. :)
I don't want to spoil it for you so I'll just say this: carrying sequence counts towards Bullets' ending but it's not the only thing that counts. But again, if I tell you exactly what it is I'll spoil all the fun. :)
Pet him lots. Every time he brings you a key item. Every time he leads you somewhere: Just petting him goes a long way.
Break totems when you see them, the ones he’s growling at. If you are trying for the good ending there is usually a way around the totems without making him get too close. Give him pets after the encounters. He’s having a bad day or night.
Keep him close to you at all times, especially if there is monsters. At the beginning it says you need to keep Bullet close for your mental health. It is probably the same for him. if he is on the trail to something follow right behind him. If you ever get too ahead of him, wait for him to catch up.
I gave him treats exactly at these points in the game.
1. At Sheriff’s car before turning on the lights
2: Sawmill before leaving him alone
3. When Carver tells me to send him under the tree I ignored him and walked past and gave him a treat instead
I also called the Vet every time I had a signal and read their text. I’m not sure if this helped but it’s what I did in the playthrough I got the achievement.
Check up on him on the Rail Cart. I did this maybe 10 times. I also didn’t use it to get the two parts, I just waked. It’s faster anyways too so just leave it at the log.
It’s extremely important to keep bullet close during the fog. Pet him too in this area.
Don’t send Bullet under the tree when Carver ask you too.
Really just keep him close and give him lots of pets. It’s basically mash stay close and pet, and giving him treats. Hopefully this helps some of you.
