Gamebreaking bug, unable to progress

After connecting the battery in order to turn on the headlights, I am unable to re-enter the car. The animation stops when going to the door to open it, player character remains motionless in front of the closed car door. Unable to move or go back. Have tried restarting the game but the same thing keeps happening.

Actually, had this issue, went here to check, then went back and I was in the car. Spooky.

It happened to me 4x in a row and I'm unable to progress.

I uninstalled and will probably refund. I'm genuinely sad because I was looking forward to this game so much as Blair Witch was a part of my youth. Which in turn made me excited for this, but a game that seems to not have been through QA is not something I can endorse.

This is not a bug for a one off. It's a bug that kept soflocking. If this was tested properly then people would've seen this happen and have gotten it fixed prior to release. An one off does not happen repeatedly.

You can aviod this bug if you don't pick up any notes in the car until you get the cable on the battery. This worked for me...

Yes, I have also tried not picking up the documents like someone said, tried entering from different angles, tried waiting a bit before entering,... keeps happening.

Probably related to FPS if I had to guess, (think Fallout 4's infamous terminal lock bug). Try locking the game to 30 or 60 FPS and try again.

Edit: Yes, as a matter of fact I get the same bug when attempting to enter the truck. I get locked in the animation unable to do anything -- however I was able to press Esc, go to Display options and locked the game to 60 FPS -- after exiting options the truck door immediately opens.
