Scorcherer bug?
quest not done yet.
got the necro tome in my bag.
there is npc indicator in minimap where scorcherer stay.
but there is no scorcherer guy there.
is this a bug? any way to solve this?

It also fills up a mastery slot with a crappy skill that's useless in late game so - IMO at least - you're not missing out on anything.

Maybe you already banished him?

Did you finish the "The Cauldrons of Death" quest? Do you have the dragon staff in your inventory?

i did not banish him yet. i visit him once but then i can't choose banish option because i already sold the book some npcs. i bought the book back and then i go to meet scorcherer but he alrdy gone.

i did completed the couldrons of death quest. there is only klara's, hunger's, hero's rest quests left. there is no dragon staff in my bag tho i'm not sure if i alrdy sell it somewhere or never get 1 to begin with.

what's the reward actually? is it important?

a shame cz i'm a bit curious how exactly he gonna die. luckily the reward is practitioner gear which i don't really need anyway. and i already got OP dwarven weapon too.
thanks chilkoot for your effort for confirming this bug. i'm gonna avoid doing that on the next playthru
