Is there supposed to be a code wheel built into the game for the Steam version?
I've browsed through the install folder but can't find anything.

Mention of Code Wheel in gameplay?
When i played the original game till i had reached the half of it I didnt even know that there was a thing called CodeWheel and that should have been used for the Shrine quests.

Is there finally a mention of CodeWheel direcly in the game?

Furthermore, i have really no idea was such a relatively important thing wasnt implemented in the game itself.

It hearkens back to the types of physical pack-in items that existed with games released in the 80's. The content they unlock is entirely optional/bonus, and not intended to be apart of the necessary progression to play and enjoy the game.

It was a primitive form of copy protection back then, that's why you had the physical code wheel.

ah so thats the case, nice! i had no idea.. ok i got it, but at least a single mention in the gameplay would be a really helpfull addition since how a player would know that there is something like CodeWheel?
