30-дневный триальник платной версии, во многом схожий с бесплатной версией → Medicalholodeck, так что обзор будет копипастой, да и триальник этот все равно убрали из доступа.

VR-программка, на которой можно посмотреть в 360 градусном варианте, различные анатомические препараты, и прочие части тела пациента, если у вас есть файлы формата DICOM с соответствующими сканами (что-то можно скачать с сайта разработчиков).

Обзор будет короткий и бестолковый. Если вы имеете такое же отношение к медицине и анатомии как автор обзора к разведению птичек-полевок, то скачивать это смысла нет. Если нет комплекта VR тоже.

Если есть и то и другое, то это неплохая (на взгляд полного дилетанта, так что сами проверьте ;) программа позволяющая посмотреть многие разрезы в VR-варианте.

Как итог: палец вверх, ибо среднего нет.

I actually did image segmentation and 3D voxel rendering of CT and MRI images for my undergrad project, so it is good to see this in VR on the latest tech. Computers weren't fast enough to do this in real time back in my day. It still isn't fast enough for max quality.. I could only get like 4 fps at max quality on my 1060.

The controls should allow for grabbing and rotating the model directly. The current setup just isn't very intuitive.

Power tool, well optimized than the previous version. Not only does it have the ability to re construct the patients body in VR, it also allows meeting/discussion with other experts across the globe. Very useful in major surgical planning.

I spent two days and several hours trying to find workarounds for what is currently a half-baked product. I'm wagering that this was put into the Steam community as part of a marketing test than an actual viable product. Clearly an ambitious effort for some very inexperienced group of developers. If it only would work as advertised.

1) Crashes consistently on most DICOM format files I tested.
2) No diagnostic information upon crash. In fact, no trace of any kind of attempt to diagnose.
3) No unexpected handlers, programs just shut down or are given a generic windows error which is indicative of an Alpha or untested product.
4) It doesn't appear that there is any form of support on their website other than e-mail.
5) Documentation is incomplete. The documentation looks more like a sales pitch than a tutorial.

On a scale of 1 out of 5 I give it the following scores:

1) Stability/Reliability 1
2) Overall design/User Interface 2
3) Visual appeal 4
4) Truth in advertising 1

If the developer decides to hire a professional development staff and not leave testing to the user community, this product might have promise. Outside of that, it's simply a very pretty technology-demo that is at best in an Alpha state.

ok i admit, im no medi student. but by any standard, this is a truly awful experience. the ui is bad, the vr is bad, everything is bad.

just dont bother, go and prod yourself in a mirror instead.

i waited a good half hour for the damn game to load up, this is totally unacceptable, compartmentalize some of the programs or something and shorten the wait time to 30 or 45 second

I was about to discover a cure for a rare form of bone cancer but they the 30 minute trial ran out. Maybe if I had the fast render engine. Too late now.
