I really appreciate that this game is still getting worked on and updated. My once preferred fighting game, Blazblue CF, is basically set is stone, and the balance of that game will never change.

However...give us roll back, that will actually bring people back to the game and make it more popular. I remember BBCF before Rollback, it was dead, and years later they added roll back, and that game has a more than adequate population now. I want the same thing for Granblue

Very cool to see GBVS receive this one last patch but I have to ask Cygames: can those of us who bought the base game and DLCs expect some token of appreciation with Rising's launch? Even an exclusive skin would go a long way.

I had faith and knew you were going to implement rollback, but then you went far beyond all expectations with all the new additions in Rising. I kneel before you Cygames/Arcsys. I'll preorder Rising as soon as it gets an Steam page. I would only ask for a reasonable discount for owners of GBVS, that would make this a 100000/10

Better not alienate your concurrent supporters if you expect some of us to return. Provide some sort of upgrade path or discount for your existing supporters, that's not too much to ask.

ehm, it's on the same engine... they just added extra post processing and effects.
It reuses all the assets this granblue has. So yeah it SHOULD be like a expansion upgrade with the cost, yet they are gonna make us buy the game twice.

They had to basically rebuild the entire game from the ground up in order to implement rollback. It may run on the same engine and act mostly the same but it's in essence a whole new game.
I'm as annoyed as anyone to (likely) have to buy it again, but the amount of work done warrants payment on their side. Plus it has been 3 years which is a reasonable time-frame for an enhanced version to release.

Which engine Rising is using then considering GBVS is on Unreal Engine 4? Strive and DNF are also using UE4, why would GBVSR suddenly transfer to UE5 for a sequel? I assume you either have sources to call someone a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or are ignorant to what an engine is.

wowww this game's monetization has been beyond scummy, it's actually hard to believe lol and fighting games have been overpriced with all the add on characters for years, but this one sold character passes with multiple ?? characters so you don't even know what you are buying. now they essentially just resell the entire game with "rising" added on to add rollback and some new story mode. I feel bad for people who spent $120 or whatever buying all the characters for this game..

The server of this game will be closed when the new release?
