It's not like they cancelled the steam release they announced or anything.
I wouldn't have been surprised if they announced it as a timed exclusive, which would be a bummer given the gpu prices vs. ps5+timed exclusives.
Not sure what you mean by gpu prices but sony won't be footing the bill for this game unlike with Final Fantasy. Relink was originally announced as a PS game and they would have kept other possible platforms under the wraps as part of the deal.
Relink will launch worldwide on PS4, PS5 and Steam.
Winter 2023 is for Relink, the action RPG.
In the case of Rising, the fighting game, here's what we know. There's going to be a closed online test followed by an open beta test. The timing of the tests have yet to be confirmed, but we also know that an in person beta tournament will take place during Evo 2023 in August. The game is still slated for release this year, which places it around the Fall into Winter for release.
