upon trying to enter my username, huxxny, i was denied access under the most hilarious of reasons... my name contains inappropriate words or something, like what???

on what planet, in which language is my made up name some kind of slur or sexual reference? i honestly never had that issue before, so that's feels totally absurd to me...

This has never been fixed, the game has an absurdly stupid word filter list that includes multiple languages and makes chat communication very tedious.
That's just my theory but it probably parses for an array of character IDs, and the word filter probably also has words written in japanese, so if some of your character sequences have the same IDs as some sequences in hiragana/katakana/kanji that share the same IDs it gets censored too. But again that's just me racking my brain, it could just be a niche slur in another language and we'd be none the wiser.
