It's like trying to compare SFV with Fighting EX Layer.
SF and FEXL are VERY easy comparisons to make. they are both 1v1 fighters, who have ALSO had cross over games together e.g Street Fighter EX 1 and 2 EX. What are you on about?
Also if Granblue ever introduces its own tag team mode later I'm sure it will be handled better, especially if its 2v2 cause I could team up with a buddy, discus strategies and combos and go head to head with other duos.
Hey this game is half way their actually because we can already cooperate in the RPG mode.
Seriously, Tag Team when?
How are you going to tell me that my opponent has poor connection yet I go in and the connection is just fine?
This is the case with FighterZ too, in my experience. I've lost count of how many times I've met an opponent who was shown to have bad connection, but the frames rarely drop below five.
This game is more like a hybrid of Various Street Figthers and King of FIgthers.
Nah, they don't. Netcode is great on both. I have DBFZ on Steam and GFVS on PS4. Never had an issue with connections or any delays, both games are thriving community wise so that's saying something too.
Anyway, to answer the OP...
I haven't played DBFZ much but I feel like GBVS is the better game. The characters feel more unique and the game isn't so fast but more technical. You can tell right off the bat that DBFZ is the ultra-simplified fighting game.
DBFZ doesn't feel spammy at all but the characters DO feel less separated (as in less unique). I have 4 different versions of Goku lol Here's a realistic reference: I'd say if Blazblue Cross Tag was ASW's MvC2, then DBFZ is ASW's MvC Infinite. That's not a bad thing.
I also like the art style of GBVS better, the more muted color pallette and how characters interact with each other in battle, just seems like it has some small things that kick the gane a notch up.
Before the trolls come and ask: "Why are you commenting on a thread from March? Don't necro" I'll just say, because I can? Because I wanted to share my opinion on it? And then I'll ask why do you have the right to question what I do on the Internet?
All that being said, GBVS feels more satisfying, the dialogues actually mean something in cut-scenes and in battle, the 1v1 's feel more personal, the rpg mode is great and online is still thriving.
I vote GFVS
