So for people curious, and from what i gathered, tomorrow is story rpg game update, 5 missions following after the events of Gran's story, Gran will meet up with Djeeta, and there will be a new Story boss, Primal Zooey, there will also be a Primal Time Attack mode. On September 24th will be Belial, and some time a month later will be Caliogtso *proberbly spelt that wrong*, there was a planned roadmap how it would continue, but i can't read japanese sadly.

CAGLIOSTRO:
Cagliostro description for #GBVS: A character who sets traps in the air and on the ground. Considered "Technical" type.

- 1.40 on August 9th. 5 new chapters of main quest, new RPG Mode updates, Boss Attack mode, and a Blitz Mode where versus matches don't change your VS level.

-Completing RPG mode chapter 45 in #GBVS will award a code for 1000 crystals in GBF. (PS4 only?)

-Blitz mode event from September 4th to 6th. During it, your ranking cannot go down. Win matches, earn points, and with enough ranking points you can earn a trophy and unique nameplate.

-The first boss time attack will be August 17-22nd, against Ares. Ranking highly will award a trophy and a nameplate.9/24 we get character balance updates

- Rage GBVS Winter confirmed!

Matchmaking improvements
Lobby improvements
Versus Level reset for 2.00

3 total characters for the rest of 2020, 3 more characters in 2021 for Season 2!

As for belial people have been analyzing his moveset already:

• Super fast run speed
  
• 5U seems to be a hitgrab
  
• Stance/walk special that can followup into an aerial teleport punish (like lance 22x), it's looks like either a parry or a stance ender like vaseraga's.
  
• Diagonal DP
  
• 3 rekka?
  
• SBA is a forward rush like zooey's ssba
  
• SSBA shorter range
  
• Projectile with high priority that can be fired horizontally or diagonally, and then changed into a small scythe, looks like a nice setplay and pressure tool

So we got a very aggressive all-rounder with what looks like decent normals but we'll have to see the frame data to be really sure...

Also Cagliostro apparently being a big setplay character is really cool!
And finally some sizeable balance changes! Fingers crossed for our bottom three!

Oneiros = named after Onirism
(a French word that refers to dreams/putting things to sleep. If that word somehow also has ties to the Japanese word for demon or not I am unsure. but interesting anyways. :)

Oneiros is not french, onirism comes from Oneiros, the greek god/personification of dreams. In spanish we have the equivalent "onirico" from the same root

There's no way the devs will drop this game. Despite what some ppl think bla bla game is dead bla bla nobody plays bla... GBVS is extremely popular in East Asia, not to mention the Granblue IP is also extremely popular. They will be supporting this with content for a long time.
